Customer support agents can’t provide any discounts or promo codes. Turo doesn’t offer discounts, promo codes, or referral links for new guests or first-time users in the US or Canada. Promo codes and coupons found on third-party sites aren’t authentic, and we’re unable to honor them. Promo codes are for one-time use only and may not be redeemed on trip reservations initiated on third-party websites. You can’t combine host promo codes with other promotional offers and can’t use them for a previous or current booked trip.
Turo does reward guests for being frequent travelers on our platform with a loyalty bonus. You can also enable email notifications to receive word when we offer a promotion. To reach the “Promotions and announcements” setting in the app, tap More, tap Account, and open Notification settings. To reach the setting on the web, click your profile photo on the top right of the home screen, and open your Account.
Turo hosts have the option to offer discounts; each host makes their own decision about if and what discounts to offer. Hosts may offer an early bird discount to guests who book a trip seven or more days in advance and/or may offer discounts for a trip that’s booked for or extended for a consecutive three days, one week, two weeks, or two months.
Some hosts may email their guests a discount code for a future trip after their trip has been completed. These discounts are valid for the stated percentage discount on your next booking with that host and are one-time use only, non-transferable, and expire within 90 days of receipt. The discount percentage is applied to the next booked trip’s price, up to a maximum of $100* off. If your next booking with that discount code is declined, changed, or canceled, you can reuse it as long as it hasn’t expired. A discount code from a host is for your one-time use only; you can’t transfer it to another Turo user or sell it.
You’ll enter most promo codes at checkout. Before you complete your booking, apply your promo code at checkout by tapping the prompt “Enter promo code” and typing the code exactly as it appears. The code is no longer valid after you’ve applied it to a trip — even if that trip was declined or canceled by your host.
We’ll occasionally send a promo code that you add to your account for travel credit. To use these codes in the app, tap More, tap Account, and tap “Add travel credit.” Type your travel credit code exactly as it appears and tap “Apply.” To add a promo code for travel credit on the web, click your profile photo on the top right of your screen, click Account, and scroll down to Travel credit code. Click “Enter code” and type your code exactly as it appears, then click “Apply.”
Note: Promotional travel credit applies to the price of the vehicle only. It doesn’t apply to any applicable trip fees, delivery costs, protection costs, Extras, taxes, or other costs.
If your trip was canceled and you didn’t choose to receive a refund, the funds from that trip appear as travel credit on your account for 24 hours. If you don’t rebook within 24 hours, we’ll remove that travel credit from your account and initiate a refund that your bank or credit card company will return to you in three to 10 business days.
We automatically apply available travel credit to your next trip booking. Promotional travel credit may expire in 180 days, and we’re unable to add expired travel credit back to your account. If you’re concerned that travel credit is missing from your account, check the receipt for your most recent trip(s) to see if we applied it to the cost of your trip, or check correspondence for the issue date to confirm whether it expired. You can’t use travel credit for a previous or current booked trip.
All trips must be in compliance with our Terms of Service and Turo reserves the right to change or limit a promotion in its sole discretion. If Turo suspects fraud, tampering, violations of the Turo Terms of Service, or technical errors, we reserve the right to any remedy, including denial of the discount or cancellation of your account or booked trips.
Travel credit is always issued in US$ and you can only use travel credit toward the cost of a booking on Turo. We accept only official Turo coupons with active promotional dates. Promo codes are for one-time use only and may not be redeemed on trip reservations initiated on third-party websites. We also don’t support promotions offered by third-party services, and we can’t apply promo codes, travel credit, or discounts to already booked trips. Users with a suspended or closed account aren’t eligible to redeem a discount or promo code. You can’t redeem promo codes, travel credit, or discounts for cash or alternate compensation, and you can’t gift or transfer travel credit or discount codes to anyone. You can’t enter into a Turo transaction with a member of the family, household, friend, colleague, or acquaintance.
